Gas will be pumped through Nord Stream-2 on January 1st, 2020. The construction remains on track, said the head of Gazprom, Alexey Miller. The gas market is changing geographically. China, the driving force of world demand, will double its gas consumption by 2020. But investors are interested in the rest of the Asia-Pacific region as well. Gazprom is going to explore a deposit in Iran, from where raw material will be delivered to India through Pakistan.
