In the latter part of the 20th century, universities were given more incentives to focus on research rather than learning and teaching. Over the course of the last decade, however, universities have been paying more attention to learning and teaching again. In this video, EUA Board member and Learning & Teaching Steering Committee Chair, Michael Murphy, discusses the drivers of change and the involvement of EUA in facilitating the sharing of good practice and the outcome of research into enhancing learning and teaching in universities.
