UNC REX Healthcare is building a world-class heart and vascular hospital on its Raleigh campus that will provide treatment, rehabilitation, education, and prevention in one centrally-located facility.
The facility will be an eight story, 114-bed tower that consolidates Rex’s heart and stroke services in one location.
The North Carolina Heart and Vascular Hospital, backed by UNC Healthcare and staffed by Wake County’s leading physicians, will be the hub of the premier heart and vascular program in the Southeast. The most advanced technologies will join with the most skilled and compassionate people, creating healthcare that is unrivaled in our market and on par with the preeminent programs in the country. The facility is scheduled to open early in 2017.
