This is the horse by Roman Diaz. An amazing model which you can shape very well to your own taste. It's really perfect for wetfolding, so don't fold it with kami (like me) if you want to make a very beautiful version. Instead of using kami, I would recommand tissue foil or a thick paper suited for wetfolding. This model is from the book 'origami for interpreters' by Roman Diaz and Nicolas Terry
Level: Complex
Enjoy!

- encantojonathan: I didn't have 30 x 30 cm, but I did have 25 x 25 cm, so am trying with that. I had started it and nearly finished with a map from the San Diego Zoo, but that paper was too thick, hence I re-started with 25 x 25 cm kami paper. I am folding three of the same model simultaneously - it helps me get practice on each fold. Although people are ribbing you for the completed model not looking like the photo at the beginning, I think it'll be fine. It helps having multiple models going at the same time, because if I get to the end and one looks spot on and the other two not, I can toss the other two and not tell anyone. :)
