In this video Pro Tools Expert Technical Editor James Ivey takes a look at the new Warm Audio WA-87 large diaphragm condenser microphone. The WA-87 has been developed to takes it's tone from those classic and vintage German "87" microphones but add some of the characteristics that we love from more modern mics like a nice shiny top end and warm yet tight lows. James puts the WA-87 to work on drum overheads and guitar in a small jazz trio setting.
